About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To play my guitar to as many people as possible and find out where it is that I want to spend the rest of my life because it sure isn't in Chatham.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Drogheda, Eire and left when I was 2 years old so I don't remember it at all.

I have been obsessed with music since I was 13 years old and learnt to play the guitar the same year and have been doing so ever since.

My schoolfriends and I started a band called Carpetburn in 1999 which is still playing. I also record with people from California, Washington and Toronto who I have never met but they are very talented; we call ourselves The Worldly Self-Assurance.

I love to eat but somehow I am very skinny, and after travelling around a bit I have discovered that the worst food in the world can mainly be found in England. However I do miss making sandwiches, especially toasted ones.

Things I wish I was better at (or could do at all) include: Surfing, speaking foreign languages, martial arts, cooking, drawing and playing the drums.

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy, it only takes a day for everything to turn around. Balance is important. Sometimes truth is in the searching and not the finding.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Erm, I don't know. When you re traveling amazing things seem normal and normal things seem amazing. Eg, China is amazing when it just goes about it's daily business.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn
I'd like to know how to say 2 things in every language:
1 - "What's up brotha!"
2 - "More chips please"

Teach
Sometimes if you hold a guitar right that is more important than playing it right.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Japan, Laos, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
