About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi everybody. I'm a PhD student at UW Madison since 2011 and before that I was working in France. I like travelling because it gives me insights into different cultures, languages, lifestyles and philosophies. I can't think of anything more interesting than that. My close friends would describe me as a mindful listener and caring person, for other acquaintances I might seem a bit quiet and shy. I prefer deep conversations over small talk, which I know most of you agree with.
PHILOSOPHY
Be true to oneself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I joined CS because I went studying abroad and wanted to meet local people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in Scotland, France and India. People-wise it always was an enrichment. Once I did not get to know my host - he left town and gave us the keys to his apartment. I found this behaviour to be very trustful so I guess he must have been a nice person too.
Interests
Reading, cooking with friends, hanging out in the park, playing frisbee, concerts, dance, I love good paintings (unfortunately I'm free of talent) and photography
