to finish my last semester of college and then wander the steppes of central asia

ABOUT ME

Im from Madison, Wisconsin originally- a sweet ass college town that was a great place to grow up. Im going to college in Grand Rapids, Michigan a somewhat provincial area which Im looking forward to leaving behind in a semester.

Im a history major and Im looking at graduate programs in middle eastern and central asian studies. Thinking about being a professor, going into international law, or possibly working for an NGO. But really who knows?

I have done a fair amount of travelling in Europe and North America and I spent a summer studying in Egypt. The next spots I am hoping to go are Turkey or Azerbaijan with hopes to travel throughout Central Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

I love meeting people. I work at treating all of humanity like my brothers and sisters....though its hard because, well you know, there's alot of grumpy people.

PHILOSOPHY

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow
creeps in this petty pace from day to day
to the last syllable of recorded time;
and all our yesterdays have lighted fools,

Life is but a walking shadow,
