Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Currently going to school, hoping to save for some travelling in the future.
ABOUT ME
I'm your average hippy twenty-something. I work and study and eat and sleep and play guitar and bike and drink beer. I'm pretty active, biking to school and taking walks for fun. I really like food, and am slowly learning how to be not a terrible cook. Sometimes I make ridiculous faces and awkward jokes, but it's probably because I want to make you smile. Aww.
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the sensation of wind on my skin, and the similar sensation that certain friendships give. I think everything you see and touch gives you something you may not have had before, if you can learn to absorb it. I think life is worth it, just for the experience, and the stories afterward. I want my future kids to feel free, and loved and capable. I think that's what I live for.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Though I'm currently unable to host, I encourage everyone I know to join, host and travel with couchsurfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I traveled through Europe last spring and stayed with some of the friendliest, funniest, sexiest people I've ever met. Though I haven't been able to host since I've returned, I did host a bit the fall beforehand.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much music to list. Everything that's awesome. Things I haven't heard yet. The Mountain Goats Heretic Pride has been on repeat for about a week.
Movies: I like documentaries, I really like Werner Herzog, I like Wes Anderson movies, Lars and The Real Girl, Baraka, and quite a few more. I'll always have a weakness for the Princess Bride.
Books: I love His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman, I read a lot of non-fiction, mostly history and science and politics. Currently I'm reading bike mechanic text books, and the textbooks they give you in university.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've repelled down a 25 story building on a windy day.
Teach, Learn, Share
Try not to confuse worry with preparation.
Everything you've always known, forget. Then re-learn. It'll hold up, or it wont.
