About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel the world

ABOUT ME

Let's see, I would usually write something funny and outlandish on here, but since most people who will see this haven't met me yet I guess I should try to take it seriously... I'm 26, I just moved to tampa, fl and I'm quickly learning my way around. I work long hours during the day and work as a bouncer at the Kennedy (nightclub: thekennedysoho.com) on weekends, but I'll always make time to show someone around.

PHILOSOPHY

do unto others as you would have them do unto you ... yeah I'm sure you've heard it a million times, but it's true

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

ummm... I was couch surfing long before there was couchsurfing.com, I never knew it had a name or that other people did it. I graduated high school in 2000 and immediately drove to california with my friend James, we stayed with my James' cousin in colorado springs and we stayed with my friend's aunt and uncle in Sunnyvale, whom we had never met. Everyone I tell the story to thought it was really weird, but it was actually a lot of fun. In Israel my friend chris and I stayed with a bunch of German missionaries that were riding the bus with us, Chris broke the ice by getting them to laugh when he drank water out of the dead sea, otherwise we probably never would have met them and been offered a place to stay!

Interests

This is a really open-ended question. I like anything and anyone that makes me laugh. I'm interested in traveling around the world. I'm interested in really remote places, going somewhere that no one has ever been.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bribed a guard with $100 so we could climb to the top of the pyramids in the middle of the night, watched the sun rise over the Seine, got forced out of the tube and into the streets when the bombs went off in London in 2005, got interrogated at the border of Israel for 40 minutes because of my last name, drove from pennsylvania to venice beach, CA and locked my keys in the car when I got there, got denied a visa at the Sudanese embassy in Cairo because there was genocide going on

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you everything there is to know about mathematics... and bartending
