About Me

*** Not hosting at the moment. Traveling through Europe***

CURRENT MISSION

Altruistic Hedonism.... Enjoy life with all these awesome people and do my part to make it better

ABOUT ME

I have one life and figure I should enjoy it, so that's what I try to do.... I love people and hearing different perspectives from varied experiences. I am opinionated, but I am open to others' opinions, and appreciate hearing them and having an open dialogue. It's the best way to expand the mind and perspectives.

Adventuring in the great outdoors is always a refreshing and welcome experience; the natural world is beautiful and diverse yet has overlapping characteristics everywhere you go. I was try to see a piece of this when I visit new areas.

I'm love almost any kind of dance, but aerial dance on trapeze is my favorite, and zouk, bachata, and salsa are new loves. But give me a beat and I'll happily dance to anything!

People tend to notice my laugh, and I laugh a lot :) . I love things that make me think, and nerding out on sustainability stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

"The secret to happiness is to see all the marvels of the world, and to never forget the drops of oil on the spoon."
-The Alchemist

Don't take life too seriously, you'll never get out alive

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met so many awesome people, had tons of interesting/hilarious/heartening conversations, introduced to numerous new places and ideas; I started as a host, switched to a surfer, then hosted some more, now i'm back to surfing again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience will always be the most memorable; though not through couchsurfing website, it exposed me to this wonderful sub-culture of travelers: A friend of a friend from germany shared in the feasting of Thanksgiving and we swam with a sea turtle bigger than her, went to the top of a waterfall....oh yeah, and she stayed on my couch.

Waltzing into the New year in Vienna....

Picking spinach on a beach in Ireland to make my favorite spinach lasagna for my birthday dinner....

Sooo many others...
