Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get to know the world around us.
ABOUT ME
We are two pharmaceutical scientists, who became bored with the daily grind and decided to pack up house and belongings and venture out into the big wide world! Coming from rural backgrounds and then living in the city for several years, we moved to Canada (via England and Asia) for 2 years and have now temporarily settled in London. We travel and live in hope of getting a better understanding the world around us.
PHILOSOPHY
Do what feels good and harms none :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We heard about it from a few friends and thought it sounded like a great idea. We would like to meet people and experience new places from a perspective that only a local can give, and hope that we can offer the same thing to others as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several random introductions and aquaintances we have made while travelling, have resulted in some great couch stays, as well as couch stayees! We decided to make it official and make a profile and have since surfed our way through west coast USA and Canada, and are now started on the UK.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music of all genres. Particular emphasis on NZ and Australian music. We love to support up-and-coming local artists.
Movies include anything, though tend to be less keen on the Hollywoody, over dramatic crap. Arthouse and foreign film is a favourite.
Neither of us seems to read much, but this is fast changing since we started commuting each day to work on the tube! Trying to avoid the metro newspaper (if you could call it that) even if it means getting through several trashy novels a month!!!!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
just one?!
Burning Man.
Spent time in a Cambodian AIDS hospice.
Ran away from an angry grizzly bear!
