CURRENT MISSION

We are currently on a trip around Central America so far it has been pretty fly by but we are hoping to settle in Costa Rica for a while and see whats going on there

ABOUT ME

We are a couple, both qualified English Teachers, who enjoy adventuring and just chilling. We love eating, drinking, socialising, listening to and making music, cooking, entertaining and chatting good chat with good people to chat to. Swimming as well.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surfing is a really exciting project. The opportunity to meet new people and find out the way the real people live in a place is a great and also the chance to give this chance to others in my home town would be brilliant.

Music is definitely a massive interest, art, books and films, if there is a good film on somewhere, you will usually find one of us watching it. Listening to fun stuff on the radio is good too, anything that will make us laugh or even sometimes, think. swimming, playing badminton and loads of stuff like that, football, table tennis, tennis, jogging, roller blading. Also making and then consuming good food and drinks.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Vampire Weekend, Bloc Party, Belle and Sebastian, Gotan Project, Klaxons, LCD Soundsystem, M.I.A., Glasvegas etc. Just fun indie and more anything that is good live that you can dance to and have a gret time listening to. Particularly enjoy finding new bands and then going to see them and finding out that they are as good as you thought they were if not better. We both really love music!!
We like all types of movies, as long as they are good, and maybe especially if they make you laugh or think. We will watch any movie that is recommended by Mark Kermode or any film critic who obviously likes good movies!
Books aplenty. If we could we would probably live in a library, then that way you would always have something to keep you entertained! Especially like reading the adventures and misadventures of Danny Wallace (Yes Man, Friends like these...), Jon Ronson, Bruce Parry and Peter Moore, two great travel writers with a lot of stories to tell.
Maybe if you persuade, or pester, him enough Alex will show you his travel stories...

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Teach - Music, listening, analysing, playing (Alex has taught Amy the guitar, just chords mind you, and ukulele). Films, we know what a good movie is when we have seen one. The ways of the world in England, and the various other places we have ventured to. English.
Learn - It would be great if someone could teach me to be better at the ukulele. We also relly want to learn more languages, we are trying Spanish at the moment, but to keep practising French would be great, and any new, exciting and fun language to learn would be even better!
Share - Music collection, we have a lot of CD's, and I mean a lot, so if anyone ever wants to grab some music off us we are always willing! Stories, tales and fun times - who doesn't want to share them with fun people, eh!?
