ABOUT ME

I am a music student and I work full time in a call center. I live in Bothell, Washington. I love western Washington, especially in the summer, because there are a lot of great hiking trails and beaches.

I want to travel as much as I can before I die or get too old to enjoy it as much. So far I've been to parts of Europe and a lot of the US, so many places I still want to go.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that everyone should be kind to and tolerant of one another. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about other cultures. Life should be fun, and it's too short to get hung up on the differences between people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have told a lot of people about couch surfing since I found this site, trying to help people understand that it's more than just having a cheap place to stay. Couch surfing is a great way to learn about the real world when you travel, not just about the things that are marketed to tourists.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed once in Amsterdam. I had a great time, my hosts showed me a lot of the city that I wouldn't have otherwise seen. I haven't hosted anyone yet, but I'm definitely excited to host people.

Intereses

Music, playing and listening to. Reading interesting books when I have the time. Going to the dog park with my dog Haiku. Reading news from around the world. Local/national/world politics. Hanging out with friends over good food and micro brews :)

Música, películas y libros

I love a lot of different kinds of music. I play cello, guitar, bass, piano, and some drums. I love the White Stripes, Muse, Kings of Leon, Raconteurs, Queens of the Stone Age, Death Cab, Sleater Kinney, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, My Morning Jacket, Shiny Toy Guns, Pearl Jam, and lots of other bands.

The last book I read was Choke by Chuck Palahniuk, and that kind of insane, but really good.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I lived by myself on the beaches of Hawaii for 2 months when I was 20, it was one of the best things I have ever done.
