Empowerment of tribals in North East India & other far flung areas and contribute towards their socio-economic-politico development/ awareness.

ABOUT ME

Went to a Public School at the age of 12 yrs, joined army training and commissioned as an officer in Infantry Regt in 1970. Military award of Vir Chakra & Parakram Padak (wounded in battle) for bravery of a very high order.

As part of defence career, travelled length & breadth of India - icy mountains. jungles, deserts and plain riverine areas. Led an active and adventurous life - motor sports & car rallies/ equestrian sports/ trekking/ golf and you name it. Superannuated in 2006 -having put in more than 45 yrs service in uniform & big boots.

We have two sons, aged 33 & 30 yrs, serving in IndArmy and married. Well placed in their careers.

PHILOSOPHY

Having been an obedient son, faithful husband & supporting father, now I want to live life at my terms & conditions - live myself. Even before this, I've lived on my own terms & conditions!!
