Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be genuine and to be genuinely known.
ABOUT ME
Very easy going and carefree.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live very purposefully and be known as a reliable person of action.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have couchsurfed throughout the US and in Canada. Rather than thinking of evenings, nights, and mornings as a necessary break to get from one day of adventuring to the next, couchsurfing makes that time part (if not the BEST part) of the adventure. I love being consistently surprised by how incredibly welcoming and compassionate most people are. To me, couchsurfing breaks down the "stranger danger" walls that we were all encouraged to build as children.
Interests
I am a cyclist. I enjoy exploring a southern CO and northern NM on my bike with my husband Tim. I also occasionally participate in group rides like Bike Across Kansas, Pedal the Plains, and the Habitat500, a 7-day, 500 mile, bike ride fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.
I enjoy writing. I have had a weekly column in my local paper since late 2009. It's a fun venue to share my various thoughts and opinions on a variety of topics.
