ABOUT ME
I'm an avid motorcyclist. I ride all year long, even in Canada. I try to take a long ride every year, but am kinda limited because of my summer job.... so I go when I can... Was in DC, and around Virginia this past summer... Thinking about Route and the northern "lower50s" in summer of '18...

I find that a sense of humour and open-mindednessare the common threads between me and people I really get along well with. I love to laugh and talk about all kinds of things- especially while eating good food.

To learn from people and cultures and take the things that I like and incorporate them into my behavior.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been away from CS for a long time- I offered to host in Seoul, but didn't hear from anyone. I have been to meetings in Buenos Aires and Lima- which were amazing. I live in a bachelor apt. in Toronto, so it is too small to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meetings in Buenos Aires and Lima. Also traveled with lots of people who couch surf who I didn't meet through CS. Have met loads of really interesting and inspiring people through it and look forward to one day, when i have a big enough place, to hosting....

Music:I don't usually put it on myself, but like stuff like The Who, Jeff Buckley, Gordon Lightfoot, Piaf, John Coltrane- lots of different kinds.

Slept under a clear night sky in the Sahara with stars everywhere I looked.

Motorcycled from Toronto to Vancouver, Toronto to Cape Breton, Toronto to Chattanooga and all around South Korea.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

Teach: Cooking. I love to cook (and eat), especially Mediterranean food-peppers, eggplant, tomato, etc...; soups. English, Ice hockey, skating (ice may be an issue in SA).

I'm really into wine and would love to meet other wine enthusiasts... to go out for wine, maybe have some at my place.... who knows.

Learn: to cook all kinds of food, juggle, sail, knit (I love wool sweaters), sew, design a web page.
