ABOUT ME

I am really easy going and open minded. I like to have fun, and have a lot of friends around me. I love meeting new people, being active, and seeing new things. I am into anything that I can get a rush out of, and maybe some exercise too! (Yoga, Acroyoga, hiking, snowboarding, skating, surfing, diving, swimming, soccer, bicycling, and much more ;-) I love to travel, learn new languages and about different cultures and peoples. I am a college grad with my degree in Latin American studies, and I enjoy all that that entails. I am a small person with a big heart, and have gotten the nickname lil Sara, Sarita, Sarinha and others just about everywhere I have gone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently got into couch surfing and have been able to host many amazing people, and have many good times... haven't done a lot of surfing of my own yet, but am excited for all the couchsurfing experiences to come!

Music, Movies, and Books

Reggae, bluegrass, hip hop, Latin music, world music, pretty much anything with good rhythm that I can dance too, or that brings light and love into my heart/hips :)

Movies...like to watch them... but not that into horror movies... enjoy creative cinematography, humor, and a good plotline.

Books... love to read, am always looking for a great new book... Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Ken Follet, Richard Dawkins, Daniel Quinn just to name a few...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived and studied on the Galapagos Islands for three months, was able to see all of the amazing animals, and learn about evolution and the uniqueness of these islands. I was diving with hammerheads and other sharks, sea lions, turtles, and lots of other fish.. we also did a few night dives.

(Its hard to list just one of these, if and when we meet, we can share lots more amazing seen/done stories :)
