ABOUT ME

From 2006 to 2008, we traveled South America from Ecuador to Patagonia. We spent the summer of '08 racing road bikes and road tripping for two months in the U.S. out west of the Rockies. We now live in D.C. and are exploring the adventure of settled living for a while.

We enjoyed meeting CSers on our travels and recommending new, cool people we met on the road to check out the site. We are very excited to finally be able to host now that we have our own place in DC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We´ve stayed with friends (and friends of friends) all over the midwest while racing our wonderful bicycles.

We've stayed with CSers in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and throughout the US. Staying with a CSer is always more rewarding and interesting than a hotel. It's the best way to get to know a place quickly.

Intereses

Saving the planet, seeing all we can before it's gone.

We love to ride our bikes a lot, it makes us very happy. We're bike commuters and races road bikes.

We like doing pretty much anything outdoors -- hiking, biking, climbing, camping, surfing, etc.

We can teach you about bike racing (or wrenching) plus we can make a pretty mean supply and demand curve.

Liz is a novice knitter but willing to share what she knows.

Ben is still considering learning to Paraglide.
