About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Survive through the school year so I can travel at the end.

ABOUT ME

Like all of you my great passion in life is exploring new places and cultures. I went on my first airplane ride when I graduated from high school (to Europe) and it has been in my blood ever since. In between trips I go to school, hike, bike, rock climb, camp, snowboard, give people food and beer, tell jokes, teach college students, brew beer, and compete in karate. I love art (especially sculpture and photography) and I am trying to learn to play the guitar. Man that's hard! Other than that I am just a really honest, kind, positive guy.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoying something out of every day. I am very lucky to live in Salt Lake City where there is so much natural beauty. Every single day I look up at the mountains or the blue skies and think, "what an amazing day!" I am a very positive person, and I believe in the philosophy of kindness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

To be honest I have yet to surf anyones couch. I have had a few couch surfers stay with me though, and that is pretty fun. I plan to take better advantage of you fine people in the future, perhaps when my sister and I go to Peru next summer.
