ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old, born in Newcastle, now living in Belfast via 5 years in Glasgow (or thereabouts... Airdrie being the "thereabouts").

Recently finished my MSc in Ecological Management and Conservation in Belfast and entered the world of work. It could be worse.

In my spare time I write and release ambient/experimental music under the moniker "Tiger Static" which you can check out at www.virb.com/tigerstatic

Music: Almost anything at all... Willing to give anything a try at least once. Favourites include Sonic Youth, Arab Strap, Tool, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, My Bloody Valentine, Slint, The Stooges, The Fall, Black Flag, Windy & Carl, Mogwai, Aphex Twin... The list could go on forever.

Books: Crime and Punishment is the greatest book I've read to date. Other favourites are A Road Less Travelled, Into the Wild, The Grapes of Wrath, The Doors of Perception, In Siberia, Mr Nice

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I've seen in my life so far was Lake Baikal as it came into view over the top of a hill outside Irkutsk, Russia. The previous weeks of visual starvation from the Russian cities only made it better.

I can give you rudimentary lessons on a few instruments and impart my limited Belfast knowledge on you. If you want to party then I'll most likely know where we can do that! Also, if you're willing to come and volunteer I can help you to plant trees and contribute to a better world...
