I enjoy listening to strangers, coming home to tell stories. I prefer to listen to your story than to tell mine. I'm rather quiet, but I can be very talkative if the topic of our conversation is about energy/water/waste/trees/etc...

I host travellers in the French region of Lorraine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Gabriele and I couch-surfed in Adelaide South-Australia, we shared an evening meal with Erin and Pete and their friends, great!
In Nancy, France, I hosted a polish guy, a talented musician from Vietnam and a Finish "alternative business man". We cooked, played music, talked, went sight seeing. In Sarrebourg, France, I hosted several cyclists on their way to Strasbourg. Now living in a small village near Nancy, I'm happy about future travels, and new visitors!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking an afternoon on a 15km beach in Western Australia . We saw only 2 human beings. They appeared like insects, we said "hello" when we crossed them, and then watched there footprints for a few minutes before they were washed out by the waves. All the rest was infinite land and sea.

I can help you in your garden, show you how to plant or prune fruit trees.
I can share French and German knowledge. I have rudimentary forest/environmental economics knowledge.
