ABOUT ME

I am Imma. I am 40. I used to live in Lleida, a city on the west of Catalunya, 140 km far from Barcelona. But a few years ago I moved to the US with my husband. I lived in Madison, WI, for 3 years. It is 2 and a half hours from Chicago. I worked in a state school as DLI C.C. teacher. On 2015 I moved to Chicago.
A description of myself... I'd say I am cheerful, positive, easy-laughing, I like chatting with my friends, sensitive but take care... sometimes I can get angry easily!:) I am quite calm, so I enjoy staying at home, cooking a delicious dinner, reading a book or watching a film. But I also enjoy going for a walk and meeting friends.

Whenever we travel we look for it and we buy it. At home it's got its special place in a bookcase. Nowadays we already have around 30 Little Princes from different countries and languages around the world. We say this is our little treasure!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

1. A starry night at the Sahara desert.
2. Sharing our dinner with a funny fox in the country. She was so close that we could almost touch her!
3. Go horse riding around the Pyramids in Cairo.
4. Marriage in Formentera, an amazing island in Spain (it's a must!)
5. A thunderstorm from an airplane landing in Costa Rica. So scary!
6. Helping a turtle lay the eggs on a beautiful beach of Costa Rica.

I try to see every single day as an amazing opportunity to live life intensely!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

We could share a Spanish meal with a glass of wine and a nice chat.
I love learning languages. Nowadays I am studying Italian and Arabic. I love its culture, the language and the people! Always dreaming on traveling to the Arabic countries!
I love singing and dancing belly dance. And a few months ago I started discovering my inner artist. I enjoy painting, though I don't usually find much time to do it. Rosa is responsible of awakening in me this interest. Thanks a lot!
