ABOUT ME

I am originally from South Africa, but have been in NZ for almost 15 years. I work as a web designer and developer. My husband (a fellow couchsurfer, Joel) and I live in central Auckland. I love coffee, living cheaply, yoga and stretchy things, designing, sketching, coding websites, harem pants, headbands, wine and being around people! Im a Christian. A pretend hippie. I enjoy change.I love travelling, cultures and people! I can't wait to go off again. Would love to meet with couchsurfers coming to NZ :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed anywhere yet, but have met up with a few people in NZ and hung out. It's been awesome! Love showing and telling people about NZ.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Books: The series on Botswana by Alexander McCall Smith. I'm trying to read more recently, but don't have a great library yet. The Help. Wicked. Bible.
Music: Chill out kinds of tunes. I like foreign music, also a lot of broadway musical tracks and power balads (embarrasing). French music. The National, LatinAotearoa, Freshlyground, Xavier Rudd, Ben Harper, Phoenix Foundation. Love NZ music :)
Movies: don't remember most of the ones I watch.

My main skill I guess would be designing and coding websites. I also know Flash(a little), Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, InDesign, those sorts of things. :)
