Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finish school so we can do an epic bike trip across Canada.
ABOUT ME
We are both from Peterborough. Actually, neither of us is, but it is right between our hometowns. Plus, Peterborough seems like a pretty cool place. I heard Po' Girl was once on a bus that drove through Peterborough.
Our love of Po' Girl will never die but our new love is Timber Timbre...check them out...they are cool!
PHILOSOPHY
If you shoot for the moon and miss you still end up among the stars.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
A penny saved is a penny earned.
You've got to spend money to make money.
You can't miss a shot you don't take.
You can't make a shot you don't take.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Haven't surfed much but we have been hosting pretty consistently since we joined. We have really enjoyed it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Ummmmm....see above...I'm too lazy to write it out again and I think you are smart enough to notice if I just cut and pasted.
Interests
Lots of stuff. Mostly biking/bike touring, canoeing and orienteering in the summer. In the winter we snowshoe, ski and are always up for a good old fashioned game of shinny. We also pick up the guitars every once in a while and try to figure out the odd Jean Leloup or Madison Violet song. Right now Noel is trying to become interested in HTML so he can make a biking webpage. Oh yeah...we also love board games.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies pretty rarely. As far as music goes, Po' Girl, Allison Krauss, Be Good Tanyas, Timber Timbre, Snoop Dogg, Brother Ali, Zeit Guys, pretty much anything else we can get our greasy little hands onto. We have so many books. We both love to read, and it is a constant battle for shelf space. We thought BookMooch would help us deal with this problem...it hasn't...BookMooch is not as cool as CouchSurfing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Kim biked around the Gaspe Peninsula with a faulty front derailleur and she had to shift chainrings with her hand. Noel witnessed this.
Teach, Learn, Share
Noel knows more about yeast mitosis than probably anyone you have ever met. Yeast scientists especially welcome - just give us a warning so Kim can pick up some beer first because it is going to be a long night.
Kim can bike no-hands.
