ABOUT ME

My personallity is quite a steady person with many interests and many occupations. I love to work, because it's also my hobby. I love to go out, to drive my car, to play with my cat, to love, to be loved, to play music and to be friends and lots of other things too.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't like bad things to happen, so when this happens I can be pretty sad. And the thing that keeps me going is the will to be happy again. It sounds trivial, but that is the only thing I want. And I don't want persons I love to feel bad, I try to help where I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm allways trying to fullfill the requests I get from CS. Once I hosted two American's on their Europe-Bike tour. When I'm travelling, I hope some people are willing to host me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed New York City! 3 adresses, had a great time and met nice people.
And I couch-surfed in Rome! with Marzia who was very hospital to me and my friend Freek.

Interests

Oh, there are so many, but I think I have some main-interests:
First of all I love photography, it's not only my profession, it's my main passion as well. Then I'm a musician too. That means I am a drummer.
Other interests: going out and dance or going to concerts. Having good times with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a big reader, but I like to watch a movie sometimes and of course listening music. Some films I like: American Beauty, Donnie Brasco, The excorsist, The green mile, Oceans eleven, Das Experiment, Lola rennt, Lord of the rings trilogy, Spririted away, 187, Iniana Jones, O brother where art thou?, and many more. Some mayor musical interests: Dream Theater, Marillion, Spocks Beard, Pain of Salvation, Opeth, Metallica. But also: Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Groove Armada, Underworld, Audiobully's, Relax (Dutch hip-hop crossover) and much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things, let me see.. Couchsurfing New York was a great happening. Also fantastic were the outdoor sports in the French Alpes in 2003.
