HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a more-often-then-not, poor, theatre student, needing to travel, I know what it's like to be without a place to stay. Indeed, I have slept in parks, at train stations, and the like--I have also been robbed while travelling this way. As I see it, not having the means to provide shelter when travelling, may prevent seekers of this planet to stay at home. This is why I believe Couchsurfing serves an altruistic purpose at its core, not only by encouraging travel itself, but also encouraging cultural exchanges between people around the world. For these reasons, if I have a place to offer I will do so, and will continue to use the network making new friends, and discovering new places.
