ABOUT ME

I don't know how to describe myself other than I find myself pretty likable. I have a passion for helping people and I am studying to be a math/french teacher. To most people this seems an odd combination but it's just perfect for me, quirky yet practical. I like having a good laugh, going on adventures, normal happy-go-lucky things. I'm a bit nerdy so I'm a great person to have around when fun trivia is needed or computers break. I love learning and I think everyone should try to learn something new everyday.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a personal believer in the golden rule, "Treat others how you want to be treated."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed so far but I have had a blast doing so. Everyone has been super nice to me and I hope to host in the future when I live someplace longer than 8 months at a time.

Interessi

Learning fun facts, adventures, scouts, laughing, documentaries, bad sci-fi, movies & music, and knitting. Really I am interested in life in general so most things I am interested in learning about or experiencing.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I work every summer as a camp counselor at a Boy Scout camp and it is one of the most rewarding experiences. Not only to I get to teach, but I get to make one week of the scouts' summer incredibly special, hopefully so special that they will look back fondly on it for years to come. It is wonderful knowing that you have made a positive impact in someone's life.
