CURRENT MISSION
To become a compassionate ninja
ABOUT ME
I seem to have been unconsciously putting off getting into a career or a real job for fear of not living my life to the fullest while i'm still somewhat youthful. Hence, i have persisted in academic pursuit a bit longer than most. But i've had an incredibly good time doing it, and prolonging it, via a plethora of tomfoolery. I should have received a special uber Bachelor's degree merely for the staggering number of units i compiled as an undergraduate. It's astounding how academically motivated you can appear when you are actually just trying to avoid the daily grind of the traditional 9-5. Now, as a new doc, i'm embarking on a new journey to aide, assist and educate people within their various perspectives of healthy living. Though, even now, i feel there is a substantial piece of my soul that longs to sell all of my possessions, drop everything, and simply travel the world with only a backpack and a desire to experience; but alas, the rat race beckons. Though lack of money is finally becoming tiresome, i am enormously apprehensive about falling into the trap of the "American Dream" that includes a vicious cycle of aquiring more and more just to spend more and more just to keep that greedy capitalistic demon churning along - I dislike feeling sheep-like. I thoroughly enjoy good company and meaningful conversation over a chewy cabernet or a nice dark pint. Times i've enjoyed just sharing a beer with friends while watching life go by have forged some of my fondest memories in life, and it will no doubt continue to do so.
PHILOSOPHY
You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.
