About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission when it comes to travel is to do it as much as I possibly can. While I am traveling my goal would be to meet as many interesting people as possible and, as the old saying goes, do as the Romans do...
ABOUT ME
I am a special education teacher and love what I do. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I am married and have two grown children and an awesome grandson.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted a few people before and only surfed once myself. I have reached out a few times but mostly end up using Couchsurfing to meet people while in a new place and have a drink or share a meal. Once when I went to London on New Years all the CS community ended up taking over the pub (there were so many of us) then walked up to see the fireworks on the Thames. It was so much fun.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only couch surfed once before but look forward to meeting interesting people that I can talk to and form friendships with.
Interests
Well, taught Sociology so I guess it is fair to say that I enjoy talking about societies and group behavior. I am also very interested in Poverty and Homelessness. When was younger I played water polo, and swam. I also played roller derby as an adult and I still love to play sports.

Music, Movies, and Books
I think I am fairly diverse with regards to my taste in music. I like almost anything except country. I love to read and have a list of books that I want to start reading. Sadly, my school work doesn't allow for it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In July 2009 I went to Cairns Australia and got to scuba in the Great Barrier Reef. That was the most wonderful experience! I have decided to get certified so that I can continue to dive.
