About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling musician - looking for friendly folks along my tour route with a couch to lend!
ABOUT ME
Not sure where to start... here goes some free flow writing! My name is Sheena Grobb, and I am a deeply passionate freedom and awareness seeker... continuously discovering new layers of false beliefs and impressions about myself to shed. I am fascinated by emotional processing and have been blessed with the unique opportunity to learn and share in this transformative growth along side my dear friend Kim Nozick. I grew up on a century grain farm in Treherne, Manitoba where my family still resides, offering a peaceful country retreat to return to. I now live in Winnipeg, where over the past seven years I have received a Bachelor of Science degree followed by an Education degree at the University of Manitoba - both significantly overpowered by my spirit's work with music. A songwriter since the age of 10, I have now released three albums under my own independent "label" if you want to call it that... Red Shoe Music Inc. It's more of a platform from which I dive into the music industry ocean. With a lot of support, guidance, and co-creative input, three collections of my work - Safe Guarded Space (2006) and Grow (2010) and The Breakless Heart (2014) - are now available for sampling or purchase at www.sheenagrobb.com. Tour dates in Canada, US, and the UK are posted there as well.
I am in a flow of ever changing growth and evolution. I am intrigued by the integral community and look forward to discovering new ways I can learn from and contribute to the important insights offered within it. I am also blown away by the world of couch surfing, and how it is revolutionizing the way I tour. Every day I become better at hearing my inner guidance and ever more courageous at following it. Making mistakes has become an accepted and even welcomed part of my experience - in fact some of the most amazing and life-changing moments in my life have happened through this vehicle. I cry, laugh out loud, enjoy yoga and jogging, am currently inspired by feng shui and love to decorate. Presently, I am visioning a new way to integrate my path of music with Speaking and Health Coaching as well. More details to come in the next chapter! Check out my full bio at www.sheenagrobb.com
PHILOSOPHY
"When you follow your bliss... doors will open where you would not have thought there would be doors; and where there wouldn't be a door for anyone else." - Joseph Campbell
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've stayed on all shapes and sizes of couches while on my travels, and this past spring had my first two official couch surfing experiences - both extremely positive!!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love movies, but don't often get a lot of time to watch them. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies and heart wrenching true stories. My music library contains every type of music imaginable - and I love it all - but tend to prefer Damien Rice or Patty Griffin type stuff... mellow yet charged and alive. Books? Anything that sparks my interest...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In keeping within the theme of couch surfing... while on tour last summer I stayed at this beautiful underground home that this man and his family built over the years. It was a breathtaking sight, and it took them years to complete.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life is only real when I am. - Doug Tataryn
One thing I've learned... and it seems like such a novel idea... is to just be myself. I thought I had gotten that much down pat, but then realized I had not yet learned who I really was. I appeared to be whatever the situation called for. Now, as I become closer to knowing who I am, the question becomes whether or not I have the courage to show up...
