About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just trying to figure things out.
ABOUT ME
I just got out of my 'teens' and not really seeing life much differently than I did before. I haven't really got a clue where my life is going right now and it feels like I've been 'Just trying to figure it out' for the most of the last 3 years or so.
But it's not so bad. I guess I kinda got used to the feeling of waking up in the morning and not having to be anywhere and being able to go just about anywhere. I miss it like crazy and try to live my days as much like that as I can.
My interests tend to bounce and end up being whatever catches my attention at the time being. I've considered moving to Alaska, finding work, and trying to find someone willing to teach me about sled dogs.
And while that dream isn't being completely abandoned, since I'm currently in Texas, I'd love the chance to get on the back of a bull and see how many time I fall on my butt (or head, arm, leg, back, etc.) before I make it to the 8 second buzzer.
PHILOSOPHY
"You can't leave footprints in the sands of time if you're sitting on your butt. And who wants to leave buttprints in the sand of time?"
"History is no more fixed and dead than the future. The past is no further away than the last breath you took."
"Half the evil in the world occurs while decent people stand by and do nothing wrong. It's not enough to refrain from evil. People have to attempt to do right, even if they believe they cannot succeed."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted in Las Vegas, Nevada through my dad was a bartender and had to work nights so I took care of our guests and had a blast doing so.
I got the chance to surf and meet tons of great members of this community (and even encourage some to join) while backpacking through Europe for 3 months after graduating from high school.
Unfortunately I have been pretty inactive for a while, though I hope to have the chance to fix that in the near future, even if it is just becoming involved with the local group.
Interests
I'm an avid fantasy reader and writer.
I love playing sports, mainly softball, but if I can get together a large enough group, I love playing some tackle football. I'll give most other sports a try before I rule them out.
I love to travel and had an absolutely amazing time during the 3 months I was in Europe. I miss it like crazy and hope I get the chance to get out and about and see more of this world from time to time.
Beyond all that I enjoy and am interested in both card and board games, animals, history (though I definitely need to study up more, but it was one of the few classes I didnât fall asleep in :D), listening to otherâs stories and experiences, spending time with my family (especially my baby brother and sister). Probably a bit more I can come up with, but minds blank at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: Let's just go with "This is County Music" sums it up. I'm a country girl at heart and love them sad story songs.
MOVIES: Pretty much the only thing I won't watch movie wise is horror / goes. Love action, comedy, sports, fantasy, etc. My all time favorite has to be 8 Seconds.
BOOKS: Sci-fi / Fantasy is my section of the bookstore (emphasis on the fantasy part of that). Yes, I'm a dungeons and dragons geek and I love it.
