ABOUT ME

Hello. I am Drew. I just finished my undergrad at Dalhousie University in Halifax. I am now traveling around Europe to meet up with friends and in particular my girlfriend who is doing a year abroad in France. I'm an outgoing and friendly person, like most Canadians, and I look forward to enjoying a good conversation with those that I meet on my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is honesty. I believe the world should be based on holistic and cyclical views.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm new to this whole thing, and I'm excited about the possibility of becoming involved with this unique traveler's network. I believe that what goes around comes around in life, which seems to fit in with the concept of this project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I would consider myself an international person and take pride in having friends in different parts of the world. It is a wonderful thing to have a network of friends that are spread across the globe knowing that if you ever happen to be in their city there will be a couch to catch on and the same would be offered to them in return. Their is a wonderful reciprocal quality in sharing your home and couch with a friend or even person that you don't get to see that often.

Sled Island is the music festival I work with in Calgary, Alberta that brings bands from all over the world to our city over the course of 5 days. The city is lifted with energy and enthusiasm that most people would of never thought possible. Each year is truly amazing!
