About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Collect hot-sauces all along the West Coast
ABOUT ME
I have just finished my undergrad in Montreal, and am currently going through a post-McGill-University rebellious phase (including unnatural hair dyes, riot grrrl music-making, etc). I have lived half my life in Montreal, and half in Calgary, but I like to tell people I'm from Montreal. I speak english and french fluently.
I studied Theatre and International Development, but am not sure what I am doing with them yet. I am a theatre costumer and sometimes-Director.
My partner and I are currently travelling down the West Coast, from Seattle to San Diego, before heading to the Canadian Rockies to work and hike and ski.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't couchsurfed through the Couchsurfing website yet, only through personal contacts, but I hope to do more soon!
Interests
I love salty and spicy breakfast foods (actually, I like all foods spicy), I have a soft-spot in my heart for diner coffee, know how to do basic bike fixes, love to cook and read and ride by bike. I am a vegetarian. I love good beer. I play a little guitar, I once played the bass in a fundraiser show, and I play a wee bit of violin. I am an earnest hot sauce enthusiast, and am currently committed to collecting hot-sauces all down the west coast of the USA. My favourites at the moment include Marie Sharp's Habanero Carrot hot sauce, and Cholula. I love hiking, camping, and swimming in any water I can find, but especially freezing cold water.
