ABOUT ME

I was brought up on a farm, I have three brothers and two sisters (I am the youngest). I have lived roughly equal amounts of time in the North and South Islands. I was in the RNZAF (Royal New Zealand Airforce) as a tradesman. I have also been involved in painting (of the art kind). I am a Christian. I keep bees, and am a volunteer firefighter. I like the outdoors especially when experiencing them with friends

Music, Movies, and Books

I like reading when I have the time - non fiction of a wide variety. I like a bit of poetry. I play a variety of instruments but tend to have a bit of finger trouble at times - well enough to get a tune out though. With regards to music, I prefer a range of easy listening and am interested in the music of other cultures. I don't have a TV but quite like going to the movies once in a while - not to your general Hollywood stuff but movies which are a bit more quality!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To visit Jerusalem - with the world significance of the city in many aspects - spiritual, historical, political, cultural, Biblical etc. This is very different to anything we have in New Zealand!
