About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting my year long around the world adventure June 8th, but I can offer a couch in Las Vegas until then.

ABOUT ME

For the past 10 years I have been working my tail to the bone with 2 fulltime jobs, trying to chase the American Dream. Big Houses...Cars...more stuff then I knew what to do with & the bills to go with it. I've given all that up, including the jobs. I am now semi-retired. I say semi because I know it's not realistic to think i'll never go back to work, but for now i'm enjoying it. For me, simple equals happy.

PHILOSOPHY

The Futures Uncertain and The End is Always Near.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this website (just heard about it), but i'd like to think that I have been contributing to the CS Project for years. Always taking in travelers & showing them around Vegas like a personal tour guide. I get a kick out of it. Always been very hospitable.

Interests

I like the nightlife, I like to boogie.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh lord this movie list could take awhile... Ummm all gangster movies, Scarface, Goodfellas, so on. A good drug movie, Fear & Loathing, Spun, Requiem for a Dream, so on. Any and all comedies, way to many to name. Music is much of the same, anything & everything, except Country & most Rap. Books are a different story all together, I am very picky. I love to read, but I can only get into a book if it's written by a proper degenerate, Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Chuck Palahniuk, Jack Kerouac, Hemingway, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Growing up in Las Vegas I have gotten to see A LOT of stuff. I've probably done enough to fill 3 or 4 lifetimes in only 30 years. But nothing & I mean NOTHING holds a candle to the day I got to visit the world famous Playboy Mansion. It damn near brought a tear to my eye.

Teach, Learn, Share

The greatest trick I've learned from growing up in Las Vegas is actually a hidden law. The Gaming Board will not allow an entry fee to be charged anywhere that has gaming. And since almost all establishments from gas stations to local bars have gaming here, no one can legally charge admission. So if you wanna see your favorite band or get into the hottest event, just simply say you will be gambling & they have to let you in for free.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, France, Jamaica, Mexico, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
