About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To help the world out, one guest at a time -- I'm a major believer in Karma.
ABOUT ME
I'm optimistic and love chatting up people with interesting views and life experiences. Currently working as an editor, small business manager, swim instructor, program coordinator at Monterey County Youth Museum, and planning my June 2011 wedding. When things calm down a bit, Derek and I would love to host again, and cook you a mean home-made pizza.
PHILOSOPHY
"It's never too late to give up your prejudices."
Karma.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Our new apartment is a 1 bedroom in a large secure community in Pacific Grove. It's two blocks from the beach, and a few minutes walk to downtown Pacific Grove. We also have a pool, hot-tub and fitness room. We can offer a fold-out couch (and/or blow-up bed) to guests in the living room. I'd love to take you to the Monterey Aquarium during their visit if we can get tickets from the library!
At the moment, Derek and I are taking a break from Couch Hosting. I'll start accepting offers as soon as things calm down a little bit over here. Happy travels, guys!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted about 15 guests from around the world, and so far, everyone has been fantastic, considerate, and all-around fun company. I love hosting little dinner parties with Tamatha, especially if we both have company that night :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The little things.
Teach, Learn, Share
My fiancee and I work alot, but we try to keep a few Monterey brochures around to help your explore the area, and so far have been able to have dinner or bar-hop with all of our guests. A special thanks to the super spectacular few that offer to take me out/bring wine/offer a gift from home -- you are the coolest. If I can't give you a good experience because we're too busy, please do ask again if you pass through Monterey another time.
Also, I would love to become a better cook, so if you're masterful in the kitchen and want to teach us to make a new fave dish, I'm an eager learner.
