ABOUT ME

By life's funny twists and turns, I've found myself living in København. I'm an MSc student in Economics at København Universitet, trying to get out there in my free time to dig up all the underground amazingness I know this city has to offer. In the meanwhile, I've met some pretty amazing people and hope to meet many, many more as my time here plays out.

PHILOSOPHY

see everything, meet everyone, learn everyday, love anything as long as it's true, try everything at least twice, and realize that life is difficult, because then it often ceases to be so difficult

Music, Movies, and Books

i have a rather eclectic taste in music ranging from speed metal to folk

finishing books is a tricky thing for me, as i think i suffer from literature ADD, but existential madness is my current lit fix, including the likes of kirkegaard, dostoyevsky, poetry of montale and a bit here and there elsewhere

as far as film is concerned i'm on the hunt for new favorites but past loves include anything directed by fernando meirelles, anything featuring cillian murphy (esp. disco pigs) or gael garcía bernal, italian neorealismo and film noir

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i've saved a small village in africa from a flying, fanged wombat while carrying screaming children out of burning huts and battling a couple tigers with nothing but a spork... beat that.

Teach, Learn, Share

apart from the university humdrum, i love cinematography and have studied digital art and experimental media for a year at university. i'm well versed in programs like Final Cut and After Effects and know my way around a canon GL2 like the back of my hand. i'm always looking to learn more (esp. sound and light production as film making requires a holistic approach when you fly solo) so i'd love to learn from anyone in these fields.
