ABOUT ME

I am a professionally trained clown and physical theater artist with a deep interest in Noh and Kyogen theater. I am a company member at Theater of Yugen in San Francisco, and also produce performance art experiences with the art collective Kismet Arts Tangent in Oakland. I value food justice and cleaning as you go. I am generally sober, but occasionally pick a day to drink sake or beer after hard work. I have limited Japanese knowledge but and always trying to learn more of the language.

I love biking, swimming, karaoke, food, live music and the weird or obscure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once biked across the country with six other artists and a stage play in tow. We slept in parks and backyards and performed in 16 cities over three months. It was incredible to meet and share our art with a wide variety of Americans :) agilerascaltheatre.com
