ABOUT ME
Currently I live and work in Richmond VA. I graduated from Penn State in May '12, where I lived in a surprisingly well-organized housing cooperative with 17 other wonderful people. Before that, I learned French so I could talk to my cousins, worked on a CSA and spent some time on a commune in Virginia. I like going to museums, learning new things, traveling, sewing, biking, running, cutting hair and rock climbing. I love books and cheese.
PHILOSOPHY
Life a a big playground: there's lots of people to meet and play with, lots to learn, so have fun learning it and don't take anything too seriously. Think before you speak. Sleeping outside is good. Reduce and reuse before recycle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've caught the travel bug. Whenever I've got free time (and moolah) I'm off and about to explore the globe.
For the most part I have hosted people passing through State College in my cozy attic. Now, I am available to show people around Richmond, or meet for coffee.
Interests
Reading, rock climbing, sewing, hiking, gardening, biking, maps, ice skating, cartwheels, trying new things, doing stuff I read about, asking questions and getting inside of people's heads, drinking tea, journaling, dancing, laughing, good food (both eating and cooking), cutting hair, and traveling.
