ABOUT ME

I'm 24, easy going, currently working for the US federal government (the fear!!! I'll tell you all about it), about to quit my job and go to law school in the fall of 2013. This summer I'm making a run for it to Colombia.

Originally, I'm from New Mexico but now I spend most of the year on the US east coast - DC for now, Boston and New York before. I read voraciously - newspapers, blogs, fiction. Very amateur photographer, very excited see where this leads.

So far only surfing (in my defense, I'm couch-less) and it's been wonderful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A couple of times during a year studying abroad in Europe. So far I'm nothing but impressed with the couchsurfers of the world.

Let's see...anything by Milan Kundera is right up my alley, Thomas Pynchon, fiction I can sink my teeth into. Almodovar's Volver is one of my favorite movies, La Teta Asustada, Sex, Lies and Videotape...but mostly I just watch True Blood (bad, I know)

Spent a year in Madrid learning Spanish (y aun asi sigo con mis faltas...), spent a year in an art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico. A Countess once gave me knee-length knee mink vest (no joke - it's my best party gear).
