About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world, make it better.

ABOUT ME

I'm always up for an adventure. I love discovering new places, meeting new people, eating new things, and sleeping in places you'd never expect. I suffer from a chronic inability to sit still, and find myself travelling as often as I possibly can. I like to think of myself as easygoing and open minded and I can get along well with just about anyone. Running keeps me from going crazy, or maybe makes me crazier. Haven't decided which yet. Current life goals include finishing up school in Minnesota and building a sweet tree house.

PHILOSOPHY

Have fun. Be nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing, hosting if I get the chance, and babbling on about Couchsurfing to friends. I do everything I can to spread the word.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing my whole life, but just recently learned that there was a whole organization devoted to it. My first experience was in Santiago de Chile, where upon a few hours of arriving, my host had started a party with people from seven or eight different countries and at least as many languages being spoken. The hospitality and friendliness of all of those strangers from all over the world sold me on Couchsurfing for good.

Interests

Running, adventuring, spontaneous jam sessions. I'm fascinated by history and I really enjoy getting into the stories behind the places I visit. I like good food, long conversations, and occasionally dancing like a mad man.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list, but I'm sure we have some in common. I like books that are small enough to fit in my back pocket and movies that look good when you project them on a big wall outside in summer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitching a ride in the back of beer truck between towns in Patagonia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the guitar and I've been trying to teach myself to cook. I can't promise to cook you a good meal, but I can promise to try. I'd love to learn whatever you know about the culinary arts.

Countries I’ve Visited

Chile, Ireland, Israel, Japan

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
