Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: (not limited to the following...)
I've lived Office Space. Can't get enough of "Big Bad Love" - But warning, watching results in a strong yearning for cigarettes and green belt premium out of a can - alot of it. City of God is a must see. Paradise Now if your looking to get your nerves WRAAACKED. The Corporation if your looking for a powerful documentary with some cool stock footage - The persuaders and merchants of cool. Woody Allen's: The Sweet and Lowdown is fun, as are most of his movies - Deconstructing Henry....another classic. Being There is awesome - Sweet Also Sprach Zarathustra funkin out as Chance hits DC's streets for the first time. For that matter: Mean Streets where DeNeiro comes slow motioning in the bar, broad under each arm with Stones: Jumpin Jack Flash's interlude playing - Good Scene. Bottle Rocket thru Life Aquatic with Steve Kizzou, (Queen Bitch: David Bowie)- Wes Anderson flicks. Ghost Dog - Way of the Samarui, Raw, The Jerk cracks me up every time: "STOOPID, where are you boy?"
Books: Reading the Unfolding of Language, recent reads: The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Jernigan, The Fountainhead,....perpetually reading - Tolle's Power of Now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I looked at a cloud and realized it wasn't white...that was an amazing revelation. Lived in Southern Lebanon for a stint as a child in the late eighties..Amzing because I was naturally a kid. Not there as a tourist, traveler, or whatever, just there as purely myself. Love that.

And I have an endless curiosity about peoples' stories, the semi-useful past, the ever present now, and how they see the whole navel unraveling.
