About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Love to travel, Love to host...Love it all

ABOUT ME

Family, Food, and Travel are my passions. I have a fabulous black lab that loves the beach. We live less than a mile from the famous and beautiful Coronado beach. Downtown San Diego is just over the Coronado bridge. While I love my beautiful city, I love to see the world. I've been blessed to travel the world, but I am always ready for more.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and love and leave the rest by the wayside.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Never used this site before, but I love to entertain and show people around the city. I'm told I have a comfortable couch and I also have a queen-sized blow-up matress. As a nurse I work 3 12 hr shifts a week, so I have tons of time to be a tour guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None on this network, but with friends around with world it has always been fun to crash on the couch or a matress on the floor.

Interests

Family, Food, Travel, Music, Sports (to watch: baseball and volleyball, to play: volleyball & racquetball, recently picked up ultimate frisbee- suprisingly a great workout), just picked up Cooking, Baking, my Dog,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My missions trips in Costa Rica is the most amazing life experience I have ever been a part of. In one of the the most beautiful places in the world come teenagers from the poorest areas of Costa Rica to experience a week of life altering camp at La Montana in the montains above San Jose. It's a week of learning about God and who we are in Him and as individuals of this amazing world we live in. If any one ever gets the opportunity to go, I can guarantee it will be one of the most life altering experiences of your life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I guess the obvious would be my medical knowledge, but that's boring. I've been told I'm "wise beyond my years" - basically a lot of life experience. I think they are all full of crap. I guess you'll have to let me when you meet me.
