About Me

ABOUT ME

So much to say... where to begin?

I love meeting people, exploring new places, and going on adventures.

I just graduated from Cornell University. I studied Natural Resources and Development Sociology. Next year I'll be moving around exploring the great beyond.

I'm not sure how to condense my life story into a little box. So here is my proposal: lets meet up and get to know each other face to face!

PHILOSOPHY

Be happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS. However, I'm psyched to start. Hopefully I will soon have a place to host all you wonderful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're working on it!

Interests

I love:
Doing carpentry, reading, painting, knitting, running, playing guitar, singing folk tunes, hiking and backpacking, yoga, having discussions until the wee hours of the night.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oy Vey... lets see...

Books: the Grapes of Wrath, Small is Beautiful, a Sand County Almanac, A Clockwork Orange, Founding Brothers, Encounters with the Archdruid, East of Eden, Walden, the Giving Tree, Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee, Amusing Ourselves to Death, Founding Brothers...

Teach, Learn, Share

This is a great idea! I love skill shares.

Things I can help you learn: I could probably teach you some nifty finger picking patterns on the guitar. I could help you learn to fix your toilet (and a lot of other household maintenance stuff). I love fixing up bikes. I can teach you how to to knit scarves, hats, and other random things. I can teach you to make a rope hammock. If you enjoy sewing, I could probably teach you how to make a pretty nifty tent.

Things I would like to learn: The most important thing is to learn how to lick my elbow. I've tried for years but to no avail.
