ABOUT ME

We're a family of three living in the Eastern Finland. Reetta is studying languages and translating at the Univeristy of Eastern Finland and Tuomas is studying business. We also have a little girl and at the moment Reetta is staying at home with her.

We are happy and open-minded. We both love traveling and finding new interesting places all around the world. Our dream is to travel to as many places as possible and meet as many new people and cultures as possible.

We are not the kind of people who like to party all night long and usually we prefer to stay at home.

PHILOSOPHY

A way to a happy life is to have a lot of dreams and making them come true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are ready to give accomodation for surfers if we just are at home ourselves and have enough time to spend with our guest. If we cannot offer an accomodation for some reason, we are ready to help you to find another place or maybe catch up for a coffee or tea.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On our travels in Asia we stayed with and met some great people. We have also offered our place for surfers needing accomodation. It's been a great experience to meet new people this way.

兴趣

We are interested in different cultures and countries and, of course, traveling. Reetta is also interested in languages, where as Tuomas is interested in cars, motorbikes and all other kinds of gadgets.

Traveling from China to Japan by a ferry and meeting som awesome people on the way and getting a great experience! :)

Well, we can of course try to teach our language to everyone who is interested in learning Finnish. We are also happy to show Finnish countryside and Finnish culture to people who are staying with us.
