ABOUT ME

I'm a free-spirited and open-minded dude who grew up in the mountains of Montana. I love meeting new people, and trying new things. I'm really big on the outdoors, whatever the season, whatever the weather. I never allow myself to get bored. With so many new things to try and learn, I don't see how anyone posssibly could. I also have a strong creative side, especially when it comes to music and nature photography.

PHILOSOPHY

Life? I know one thing's for certain about it, I'm not going to have it forever. I could lose it 50 years from now, or before I have the chance to wake up tomorrow. That being said, I can't stand the thought of spending most of it either at, preparing for, or recovering from some JOB that doesn't give me nearly the satisfaction or the joy that I experience while traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing "unofficialy" plenty of times while visiting friends in places like Texas and California. It's always been a wonderful experience!

Interests

Really, I have very eclectic tastes. I love any adrenaline-packed outdoor adventure, deep conversations, excursions out onto the town, learning about people and places. You want a few specifics? Ok: Outdoors, music, language, history, food, culture, the list goes on...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm mostly a non-fiction reader, I absorb facts like a sponge! If I do get into a novel, it has to be written in a very readable style: something with vived images, but without a bunch of irrelevent and confusing details.

Music wise, I'm all over the map. I can connect with virtually any style. I do have a special spot for any thought provoking hip-hop, and I also enjoy, regge, funk, blues, classic country, rock, soul and celtic tunes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting outside on a clear summer night near Queenstown, New Zealand, and seeing the tail of comet Mc Naught stretch halfway across the night sky! Yeah, definetly a once in a lifetime experience!

Most of all, I'm always down to jam with all kinds of musicians. I also love trading cooking tips, outdoor advice, or even just swapping some good stories!
