About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm in need of life experience, searching for adventure, and running away from the suffocating sameness of the first eighteen years of my life.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty laid back when it comes to changing plans and trying new things. It takes a lot to make me worry about anything.

PHILOSOPHY

I am terrified that I am going to get older and settle down into a life that I hate just because its easy. I am trying to live my life in order to never let that happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just getting started, but I'm excited to connect with new people, and to eventually open up my own couch to others, and to show them around my own town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this whole thing. I'm hoping to have some great adventures. I've heard very good things about CouchSurfing.

Interests

Anything outdoors or indoors. Anything new and exciting. Anything that let's me move and have some freedom to change my plans and try new things at any moment. I'm open to it all.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love basically all Indie movies. They just seem so much more real than Hollywood,
As far as books,I'm into classic authors like Vonnegut and Salinger, my all time fave is Tom Robbins though.
And music of all kinds, but especially Iron and Wine, Mason Jennings, classics like Simon and Garfunkel and Bob Marley, and if there is room to dance then anything reggae.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once accidentally stole a cooler from a girl that I couldn't stand. She was gone in Europe with her family, and our mutual friend was house sitting, so we basically hung out at her empty house every day. Then I filled the cooler with fruit and cereal, roadtripped with it down the California coast, and then left it at my best friends house for three weeks. By the time her dad discovered it buried in the garage there were nearly twenty-thousand fruit flies breeding, colonizing, and mutating atop the liquefied fruit. Needless to say, we ditched it at a Safeway and never spoke to the girl again. I only wish I had a better story to tell here.

Teach, Learn, Share

From deep philosophical conversations, to lessons on how to build a cabinet, I want to learn and experience it all.
As far as what I have to offer, well I'm still young and I haven't had much of a chance to develop any special skills yet. I'm pretty good at pencil sketches, writing short stories, teaching dogs to sit, driving a clutch, doing mental math, baking any dessert you could ever want, knowing how to eat a balanced and nutritious diet, offering an honest opinion, and canoeing. If any of these could benefit you in any way, then great!
