Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Irene) used CouchSurfing to meet people in 2005 while backpacking in Europe and had a superb experience.

I have never personally hosted a Surfer (I'm generally on the move and have yet to have my own place), but definitely plan on it when I'm able. While growing up my family constantly had exchange students, cousins, and friends visiting or moving in and out and I am a very experienced host! I´m definitely one of those annoyingly proud Portlander/Oregonian types who loves nothing more than showing off/talking about my home city/state.

Interests

Travel (!!! cultural exchange, learning, making new friends, breaking stereotypes, making the world a better place!), outdoors, dance, anthropology, SET, live music, LIFE!
