About Me

CURRENT MISSION

explore the world/ get to know someone new and myself better

ABOUT ME

I'm not pretty good in answering those questions. I have to interact with people to show who I really am.
Whatsoever... I think I don't belong to these people who talk a lot(as you can see)... I like to listen to peoples stories, thoughts, ideas and philosophies. I would claim that I'm very balanced since I'm really into sports. That's why I get along with almost everyone I meet. In addition, my passion for sports is probably the reason for my calmness. Sometimes when I'm really exhausted this calmness mutates into being sleepy... and in the worst case I fall asleep with my eyes still open(hope that doesn't sound too creepy)... to everyone who was talking to me while that happened..."my apologies"

PHILOSOPHY

make the most of now...enjoy thinking about the past... and look forward to the future...
or in other words: don't worry be happy=)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started couchsurfing throughout my travels in Australia. That's why I only enjoyed being hosted but I'm really looking forward to answer with my hospitality when I'm back home...
...In Sydney I participated in building up a couchsurfing place...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only remember positive experiences, places and people!!! I can't rank them because every experience was different but together with my cousin I met some very special people in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane I won't forget. People who became real friends... Whether it was getting to know new perspectives and a totally different way of life, staying with an amazing family that gives you the feeling of being home or just having a beer in a tiny gum boat on Brisbane river... all the time it was unfathomable fun!!!

Interests

-all kinds of sports especially beach volleyball
-art and music as the most important equivalents for (see above)
-literature although I hardly finish two books a year
- all the food of the world..."hell yeah!!!"
-psychology/philosophy

Music, Movies, and Books

I guess I'm a junky concerning good movies...I can't help it but almost everything reminds me of a certain scene of a film.
Actually, I should have started with music! I think I could hardly survive without it!!! Music can make you feel euphoric as well as enjoyably melancholic. A lot of my memories are connected with music.
Literature: Unfortunately, when I was younger I was too "lazy" to read or it was just not exciting enough for me. But in recent years I noticed that it is really something to explore.
