My mission is to tear down my own walls.

ABOUT ME

I am biding my time here in Columbus Ohio, wondering where I will wander. I have a great dog, with whom I spend most of my time. I hope to enter into field research, tracking wild animals and studying their habits. I love to try new things. I'm a very accepting person, I was taught growing up not to judge people, but to try to understand them. I hope through couch surfing I can meet some people outside my day-to-day realm and maybe show them around my little corner of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

My ultimate goal in life is to make a difference, however small. I want to work toward a goal in science to help conserve species and tracts of habitat. I hope to create in people, especially children, an appreciation and respect for and amazement with the natural world. Through education, someday human kind will reach the point of a mutually beneficial living situation with our environment.
I also believe it is of the utmost importance to rock out once in a while.

Interests

I am interested in meeting new people, ad hearing about their lives. I want to learn about the world around me from other vantage points than what I'm accustomed to. I consider myself a bit of a science geek and love learning about the life sciences. Biology, botany, zoology. Creatures amaze me by carving out little niches for themselves, and surviving under whatever conditions the world throws at them.
I love music and art as well, and immersing myself in culture.
I have recently discovered that I love to build things, and am planning some hands on projects.
