About Me
Hello you all. I am Andre Calado, born in the northeast coast of Brazil but living in Rio de Janeiro for 8 years and currently travelling (Europe). I consider myself as being an really easy-going person, who loves to travel and to explore. Sports are one of my favorite thing in the world, especially football, tennis and surf. As living in Rio we are all surrounded by mountains and vegetation, so for the past years i have been hiking quite often too.
I am really fond of learning and also teaching (if possible), whatever the subject is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing because I think the best way to get to know a new city is with a local. Also when I travel I like to know as much as possible about the culture to the place, and being hosted by someone from that place is incredible.
I am also very fond of the "travellers world". I have been travelling since 2009 when I was 18 and Couchsurfing makes it easier! =D
I also came up with the idea of having a temporary hostel during the World Cup 2014, which ended up as being one of the best experience, since the guests were from all over and I notion that the passions of Football and Travelling really bonded.
