ABOUT ME

Tim and Audrey are a couple of young folks living in Hamburg (stop on by!/ Komm vorbei!) and traveling about whenever possible. We like to see things (buildings, art galleries, plants, trees), read things (books, commemorative plaques), make things (delicious food, stories, little cone-shaped sculptures, pictures), and eat things. We like walking around and up and down things (like mountains or sand dunes) too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Tim and Audrey are born participants. They have no idea how to be spectators, therefore they have no choice but to participate. And participate they do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If 'in your lifetime' includes not mediated by couchsurfing.com then Audrey recalls a revolving door of delightful and fascinating exchange students at her Momma's place from all reaches of the the earth, and Tim recalls his own days at age 16 of crashing on the couch of his Connecticut host-family's home during his first stay in the USA, and the two (Audrey and Tim) collectively recall a magical month traveling from friend's couch to friend's couch up and down the coast of California.

Music, Movies, and Books

Tim loves 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and has yet to finish 'Infinite Jest.' He refuses to say if he intends to pack it, but there is always a list of Latin vocabulary in his backpack. Audrey reads Miss Manner's newspaper columns exclusively.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tim and Audrey took a walk this past fall. They walked into the wilds of rock and thicket and ocean at the Lost Coast in California and walked out, several days later, MEN.

Teach, Learn, Share

Tim and Audrey have lots of cool knowledges to share with YOUUUUUUU. They hope you do too, but they don't want to go into anything with too high of expectations, but they still want you to think that they are fun and interesting and that you will like them. So: Audrey can cook lots of good food, for one (but she respects that you might not want her in your kitchen), Tim is hella good at drawing Pokemon, and he is very thoughtful, he will always think of YOU, he also knows how to whittle, which if there are any sticks around your house, could be fun, he likes to read stories and play guitar, which if you have little kids he could do both of these things for. Oh yes, he sings nice songs too.
