Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Devon, a native of Southern California.
I come from a family of vegetarians and meditators. What makes me happy is to experience beauty in art, music, and especially nature. I've been to Japan 13 times and lived there for 4 years...it is my second home!
My passion is live electronic music. I have performed my own music in US, Mexico, Canada, China, and Japan.
I believe it's possible to make a difference in this world through individual responsibility and voluntary collective organization. As I get older, I am more and more aware of what it means to be an American and how we have both positive and negative things to contribute to global society. I like to focus on the positive.
I hope that I can show you a DIFFERENT and UNIQUE side of my city, Los Angeles, which you won't find on Lonely Planet or even TripAdvisor. I want to show you a real American life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'll fill this in later...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in a cardboard box house in Tokyo for 9 days when I was 18. Went to explore Japanese universities when I was 16 and didn't speak any Japanese.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love trying to communicate and sing in different languages. I like to teach what I've learned in my life about self-expression, self-acceptance, the art life, communication, business, social and cultural change. I can give you a better understanding of the complexity of American politics, too. It's not a "black and white" situation, it's not all negative.
I can teach you about music production, American politics, American food and culture, psychology, sociology, philosophy, styles and trends.
