About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a wanderer and a contemplater. I'm currently studying art and philosophy and just got back from a study abroad in Mali, a winter in europe and a semester at college. My life goals (such as can be determined at age 21) include being a good person, continually learning, listening and experiencing. I do my best to keep an open mind and remain healthy, both physically and mentally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not yet had the honor of surfing, but I think this idea of one to one contact with fellow foreigners with an interest in other foreigners is brilliant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The summer after high school I went to Alaska with my dad and met up with my best friend in Talkeetna, just south of Denali national park. We backpacked in the backcountry of the park, my best friend and I hiking into the night. We sat on top of a mountain and watched the sunset on MT. McKinley until 3 in the morning.

Last summer I went on a week long canoe trip with 6 or so 14 yr old kids in the wilderness of the Adirondacks with one other camp counselor. Our group got lost on our 3 mile portage. We ended up starting the real portage at 6pm, portaging a total of 8 miles that day. those kids were so strong spirited.
